Regulation of lncRNA translation by eIF4E phosphorylation

Phosphorylation of eIF4E by MST1 was found to inhibit general mRNA translation but selectively upregulate translation of lncRNAs, suggesting a mechanism for enhanced peptide generation from lncRNAs.
